So.
You’ve may or may not have been ACG Events before, or have, and you’re still confused about Events like these. 🤔
If you’re still reading, congrats! Let’s GUIDE THE SHEET OUT OF YOU BEGINNERS!
“But wait! I’m not a Beginner! I’ve been to these events for YEARS!”
Well year coming along too! NO ONE LEFT BEHIND! ψ(`∇´)ψ
Checklist
Unsure about what to do? Checklist the following 3 things,
01 – PACK! YOU F-
02 – SLEEP! YOU F-
03 – EAT! YOU F-
Wait, what’s that?

01 – PACK! YOU F-

BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR AN EVENT, always checklist the stuff you need.
Core Essentials ⭐
Wallet for Money? 💸
Event Tickets 🎟, can’t enter an event without Entry Tickets. If you’re going both days, bring double the cash for 2 days worth of tickets. This can vary based on what tickets are available for the event. 🤔
Merchandise 🛍, always merch appreciated. Bring at least 3 digits worth of cash, as some items can cost the bare minimum of RM 100. D;
Transport 🚗🚌🚃, for getting around town. Travel cards like Touch & Go 💳 topped up with cash can get you anywhere by Train or Bus.
Food & Water 🍉, for surviving, duh. See 03 – Eat You F- for details.
Phone? 📞

Contact People 📡, for contacting people before, during and after an event. Be it on Social Media or a phone call for transport back with family or friends. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
Selfies and/or photos 📲, for photo based memories and/or post event tagging. Also, ask for permission first before taking photos of any kind. 🤔
Emergency Dekaranger Situations 🚓, in case of troublemakers and/or lil shits that need some yeeting. Check out these Emergency numbers for various situations in the field, courtesy of the folks who run KLCC.

*Especially foreign tourists, always keep your Embassy numbers around.
Power Bank & Charger Plug/Wires 🔌, to keep your phone alive in the field. Don’t forget to charge up the night before an event. ⚡⚡⚡
Also, don’t forget to bring the Power Bank/Plug with a wire. 🔌
Bottle Storage? 🌊
Listen to Fablefire’s Mudkip. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
Bag? 👜
To Carry everything you are bringing to and from the event.
Also doesn’t need any farm to start Carrying.
Umbrella? ☂
🌧🌧🌧⛈🌧🌧🌧
Σ(っ °Д °;)っ
In case the weather gets ugly, because rain. Also F the Weather. >:
Depending on what you’ll be doing at an event, you may need other stuff like,
Cameraman Class 🎦
Camera/s? 📷
Backup Battery 🔋 & Storage Chip, for long term camera usage and storage. You will be taking a LOT of photos, so bring backup.
Optional
Extra Camera Lens, for specific shots that need specific lenses. ._.
Photoshoot/Recording Equipment, skip if you’re just there to take regular photos.
Cosplayer Class 🕴
Cosplay Costume? 🎅🤶
Wig & Wig Cap 👱♂️👱♀️, to ensure your hair doesn’t get itchy while carrying a heavy load of hair on your head.
Props 🎩, optional unless it’s part of the cosplay. Bring Superglue, to fix up damage from the field.
Makeup 💄, includes a Comb, Safety/Bobby Pins , Eyelash Glue.
Highly Recommended to bring Eyelash Glue, as it can help fix other items, like Wigs or Character Ears etc. 🛠
Optional
Saikang/Assistant 🏃♂️🏃♀️, Highly Recommended, but not needed if you cannot get someone. Other attendees in the field tend to look out for one another, just hang around fellow cosplayers.
Cosplay Merch, only needed when you are boothing, or have arrangements made with buys before meeting at the event.
Overseas Class ✈
Passport 🅿, can’t leave/enter a country without one. KEEP THIS SAFE.
Local Currency 💴💶💷, can’t buy local stuff without local cash. There are plenty of money changers at airports, bus stations etc. Or alternatively, you can exchange cash in your home country first, before leaving.
Luggage 🧳, can’t transport stuff without a bag to carry it all. Keep an eye on what bags you bring.
Permits 📜? (See 04 – Permits for more)
TL;DR
Pack a Wallet with Money 💸, Phone 📞, Bottle Storage 🌊 , Bag 👜 and/or an Umbrella ☂.
Go Lightweight, and Pay attention to EVERYTHING you bring 👀. Because F Pickpockets. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
02 – SLEEP! YOU F-

Always Rest well the night before an Event 🛏. F that last minute packing, propmaking, <Insert other activity here>!
You can pickup where you left off, AFTER you wake up 🌤, as getting some sleep is better than no sleep. 💤
An Event is not going to grow legs and run away, so you can arrive later. So, if there ever was a time to Malaysian Timing* something, do it for events. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
*Malaysian Timing = Being late
Wait what? You can’t sleep? Well then,
Here’s a Jigglypuff, let it Sing you to Sleep. ;D
TL;DR
F last minute packing, sleep first and do it/continue when you wake up.
Also going late to an event is fine. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
03 – EAT! YOU F-
Before, during, and after an event, always get something to eat 🍚. The last thing you want, is to FAINT at an event, Blackout and get sent to the PokeCentre.

…wait what? 🤔🤔🤔
Anyways.
Sometimes having food early will cause your body to feel uncomfortable, for <Insert Science Related Reason Here>. A Nutritionist we spoke to on this matter gave this advice,
“If you can, try to take some warm water first in the morning, then wait about 45 minutes before taking your breakfast.”

“The body then should be able to process food without much discomfort.”
Basically, drink warm water, wait a bit later, then eat. 🍞🥖🥪
TL;DR
Always EAT. 🥣
After waking up, take some warm water first then eat, to avoid morning discomfort.
04 – Permits

Note on Permits for foreign attendees, (For Malaysia Events)
- Foreign attendees are legally allowed to cosplay at ACG Events, without requiring a special Permit.

- You are performing/on Stage during the event, as part of the event’s activities.
- Be wary of certain ‘Gatal/Thirsty’ people and/or troublemakers, who may approach you asking for ID/Passport/Permits.
- If they do request to check, you have the right to ask for their ID to verify their identification.
- If they provide, check with a nearby local if they’re legit officers.
- If they don’t provide, they’re fakes, just call the cops on their ass for impersonation. ψ(`∇´)ψ
- Legally speaking, only Police, Customs and Military Officers have the right to inspect people’s ID/Passports, anyone else who does it is breaking the law.
- (☞゚ヮ゚)☞ Check here for more information on this matter. ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)

- Unless it’s Luggage content, then just let them inspect, you have nothing to hide.
- Event Staff is Best, otherwise nearby locals.
- Anything else other than ID/Passport is harassment at that point,
so…fellow local attendees, YEET THESE FUCKS. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞ 🧱 - Okay jokes aside, fellow local attendees, do not attack these people at all, but keep an eye on their actions.
- If they ask to check anything else other than ID/Passport, CALL FOR HELP.
- Tactical recommends, (Advice from ACG Scene Folks)
- Stay in the Event Hall as much as possible.
