Memory Records Of Bastard Magic Instructor 9 (Short Stories)

Translations are…translations. Duh.

For stuff we want to hack apart into English. (Until an official release happens or something. Whenever that is. ._.)

Also, this is a side gig. DO NOT expect constant updates for this sort of thing. We’re not a translation site.

We do this for fun. And if we’re free. 🥖

DISCLAIMER

The following short stories are NOT chapters from the Memory Records light novels.

These are just the illustrated shorts with a short story attached to it.

You can literally read them for free over at Bookwalker. (See the link below.)

Volume 9/Short Story 1

Translation

Re=L Rayford

Rumia Tingel

Sistine Fibel

“And there it is! Advancing to the finals of Fejite’s annual three-man magic tournament is the team from the Magic Academy! Give it up for their representatives Sistine, Rumia, and Re=L!”

“Whooooooooooooo!!!”

Within the roaring stadium, the trio of girls standing side by side waved triumphantly at the crowds, after convincingly defeating their opponents to advance into the finals.

Watching the event from the spectator stands, Eve spoke to Glenn.

“Seems like it’s only natural for those kids to be this powerful, almost as though they’re exceeding everyone’s expectations.”

“T-that’s right…”

“Glenn, what do you think?”

“About that…”

Prior to the competition, Glenn had jokingly declared, “If you manage to win, I’ll do whatever you say.”

(Exploring ruins with the teacher…Exploring ruins…exploring…)

(A date with the teacher…a date with the teacher…a date…)

(Give me many strawberry tarts…gimmie!)

Glenn held his head down, as the three girls in the distance eagerly gazed towards him whilst muttering to themselves.

“…I think it may have to do with some motivation from earlier…”

“And what’s that supposed to mean?”

Eve raised her eyebrows at Glenn.

“Now then. Rumia, Re=L, let’s go!”

“Mmm hmm! We won’t lose for sure!”

“Mmm!”

And so, their last battle for victory begins…

Volume 9/Short Story 2

Translation

“Uwa…teacher’s hair is so beautiful…”

“It’s really nice to take care of it in person…”

“Ku…”

Due to circumstances, Glenn had become a woman again.

That evening, Glenn was spending the night within the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy girls dormitory, as the female magic instructor Renn.

Right now, he was thoroughly captured by Sistine and Rumia.

“O, oi Re=L, could you help stop these two?!”

“Mmm. Maybe later.”

As usual, Re=L remained disinterested in everything but strawberry tarts, as she showed no signs of helping him.

While Glenn was being fed up at her, Sistine and Rumia were both getting excited.

“Since it’s so long, we could try various hairstyles with it.”

“You’re right! Braids, twin tails…ah, buns, and even fishbones too would look great!”

“O-oi, shouldn’t you two act a bit more reasonable?!”

“Ah, you’re right, Sisti. We should also try to match the outfit too, right?”

“Of course! We should get accessories and makeup too…Teacher! Next time, let’s go to the boutique together!”

“I beg your pardoooooooooooooooooooooooon?!”

And so, Glenn’s hysterical squeals echoed throughout the girls dormitory that evening.

End Transmission.

Afterword

Thanks for checking out the translations. Also a few things to note.

The Translations may not be 100% accurate. We’re using a lot of improvisation to get the gist of what the paragraph’s trying to convey. As such, the transcript’s free for folks to pickup and double check if they want to.

Again. DO NOT expect regular updates for this. We’re busy with other stuff. D:

Also. Check out the following places for more on this series.

And the other volumes translated here too. :0

And come disturb us over at the following,
