  • Old Vanguard Units are compared with their V-Series retrains of the SAME NAME.
  • Will be compared with the 1st iteration of the unit.
  • Series will be following the JP format’s release order.
  • Has 1 of 3 possible conclusions/verdicts:
    • (Good) Upgrade/Buff
    • (Bad) Downgrade/Nerf
    • (Neutral) Schrodinger’s Patch

    3. [ACT] #1,
      • Ability now costs “[Soul Blast (1) & Retire a rear-guard with “Star-vader” in its card name]”.
      • Ability changed to “Your opponent chooses one of their rear-guards”.
      • Ability gives +1 Drive if the opponent has no back row rear guards.
      • If no cards can be locked by the this ability, the opponent puts the top card of their deck onto an “open RC“.
    4. [CONT] #1,
      • Ability no longer has “Limit Break 4”.
      • Ability changed to “All of your units with ‘Star-vader’ in their card names“. (From only “Front Row units“.).
      • Ability now gives +5000 for each locked card.
      • Ability now requires the opponent’s vanguard to be Grade 3.

Verdict: Buff

  • Likely a V-format main for Star-vaders.dek, hard to say if it’ll replace Chaos Breaker.
  • Make BIG Beatsticks with Infinite Zero. ;D
  • Pays costs like discount Shadows. 🤔
  • Still no boombox on his back for a beatdown boss.

Unrivaled Star-vader, Radon

  • Base Power increased from 9000 to 10000.
  • Updated abilities:
    1. New Ability – “[AUTO]: If your soul has one or less cards, this cost is reduced by Soul Blast (1). At the start of your battle phase, COST [Soul Blast (1)], call this card to the (RC) in the same column as your rear-guard with “Star-vader” in its card name.”.
    2. [AUTO] #2,
      • Removed “If you have a vanguard with “Star-vader” in its card name” condition.
      • Ability changed to “When your opponent would call cards from their hand to (GC), they must call two or more at the same time.”.
      • Ability now binds this unit at the end of its battle.

Verdict: Buff

  • Likely to replace Colony Maker for V-format Star-vaders.dek.
  • Battledore (2) being compulsory is weird.
  • Hard staple for legacy Star-vader decks? 🤔
  • …doesn’t work with his Legion Grade 3. :feelsbadman:

  • Steam Maiden.dek is real now. Quality not guaranteed for V.
  • Potential Premium format BS in motion.
